Welcome to Winwick

At Winwick Church of England Primary School, our theologically-rooted Christian vision and ethos underpin each decision that we make as leaders, with the belief that everyone in our community should be given the opportunity to flourish and achieve to be the best that they can be.

Through our core values of Love, Perseverance and Respect, we encourage and support everyone to set aspirational goals which will enable them to do this. We instil our core values of Love, Respect and Perseverance in order for all children to achieve their potential under the spiritual guidance of God and the teachings of Jesus Christ. Through our daily work, we aim to affirm the partnership of home, school, parish and community to enable all to flourish.

Our Christian values underpin our curriculum and enrichment opportunities, with children being nurtured to developed and grow in a safe, caring, happy environment. Our focus is on the whole child, making sure they are supported, nurtured, confident individuals who have the tools needed to be successful in the next stages of their learning and beyond, who will continue to grow and flourish after they leave us.

"Pupils enjoy attending this friendly, caring school. They are proud to be part of its community. The core values of love, perseverance and respect thread through all aspects of school life.  These values encourage pupils to rise to the school's high expectations for their achievement.  Pupils, including pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), achieve well.  They are well prepared for the next stage of their education." - Ofsted, October 2023

"The Christian vision and its associated values underpin the purpose of the curriculum.  They serve as a moral and ethical compass, guiding pupils' development and decision making.  this ensures that learning is not just about acquiring knowledge, but also about developing character and values." - SIAMS, October 2023.
